My Press Needs (MPN) announces the sale of a third Crest Clamshell to be used in cell manufacturing, a growing niche for the company’s line of platen presses. Empire Screen Printing, Onalaska, WI, recently purchased 32” x 47” and 41” x 67” Crest Clamshells for its large format manufacturing cells. Last year, GM Nameplate bought a 20” x 26” Crest Clamshell to use in its aerospace manufacturing cell.
MPN Services will provide Crest owners preventive maintenance, emergency service and phone consultation through independent servicers nationwide. MPN’s John Stadler has been named director of the new division. Assets of MPN’s previous service affiliate, My Service Needs, have been sold to David Mussi. A veteran clamshell service provider, Mussi has contracted with MPN to be lead technician for the new division.
